"When I was 13, life hit me harder than I ever thought it could.

One night, what was supposed to be a normal, fun escape with my friends turned into something that would change me forever. I watched a friend lose get struck by a drunk driver right in front of me. That moment shattered something inside me. It made me realize how fragile life is, how quickly it can disappear. For a long time after that night, I carried guilt, fear, and confusion I didn’t know how to process.

A month later, my grandfather passed away, someone who represented stability and strength in my family. His loss broke my mom, one of the strongest people I know. Watching her fall into a dark place hurt more than anything. Then, a month later, my parents separated. It felt like everything that once felt safe was slipping away, one piece at a time.

At 13, I didn’t have the words for what I was feeling, only the weight of it. I tried to run from it, to hide, to forget, but pain doesn’t disappear when you ignore it. It just grows quieter and heavier.

When I finally stepped into the gym, I wasn’t looking to get fit. I was looking for something to hold onto. Somewhere to put everything I couldn’t say out loud. Every rep became a release. Every drop of sweat felt like a piece of the past leaving my body. Over time, the gym became more than a place to train, it became my therapy, my discipline, my proof that pain can turn into power if you give it purpose.

That’s why I created Pure Fusion.

It’s not just a brand. It’s everything I learned from the darkest years of my life: that consistency builds strength, that showing up for yourself changes everything, and that no matter what happens, you always have a choice to rise.
